Finding your Magento Configuration Information

Note: there is 3 steps that will help you get the information you need in order to get your Magento account up and running on Scurri. Please follow these steps.

Log into your Magento Account

1) Create the API Role:

a. From the top menu navigate to: System -> Web Services -> SOAP/XML-RPC Roles

b. On Roles page click (top right) “Add New Role”

c. On the New Role page, choose a name for the role, e.g. “Scurri”

d. Click the “Role Resources” tab on the left. In the “Resource actions” drop down box select “all”, and then save the role.

2) Create the API user:

a. From the top menu navigate to: System -> Web Services -> SOAP/XML-RPC Users

b. On the Users page click (top right) “Add New User”

c. Enter a username (e.g. scurri_api)
d. Enter anything you want into the “First Name”, “Last Name” and “Email” fields.
e. Enter an API key, and re-enter the key into the confirmation box. Choose something secure. You will need to create this key yourself. e.g QU5d9IIOPO
If you search google for a "API generator", you will get some secure options.

f. Click the ‘User Role’ tab to the right. Then click radio button under the assigned column next to the role you created.

g. Click the “Save User” button. This should now be set up.

You will now need to create 2 new order statuses.

To do this, go to System, and then "Order Statuses"

Then add,

name: Ready to Import to Scurri  code: ready_to_import
name: Imported to Scurri code: imported_to_scurri

(you can change the nicknames if you wish)

you will need all of this information for the next step in Scurri.

3) Configure Scurri to retrieve shipments from your Magento shop

https://data.scurri.co.uk/integrations/new/magento

You can access this, by taking the following steps:

Then click, Integrations,

Then click "New" and add the details as requested in the form.

1. The WSDL path: The wsdl url will look like this: http://<your domain and the root for magento>/index.php/api/v2_soap?wsdl=1

2. Username: the new username you created in Magento

3. API key: the new API key you created in Magento

4. Magento Status code for sales orders that should be imported to Scurri: ready_to_import

5. Magento status code to be set once a sales order is imported:
imported_to_scurri

You can then set your weight units and decide whether to have Magento send an email to your customers once your orders have shipped with the carrier and tracking number used.
