Updated information 30/12/20:
DPD:
DPD Brexit changes are due to go live tonight, 30/12/20, at 8 pm.
DPD released an update today regarding the HMRC temporary arrangement for Northern Ireland, whereby customs requirements will not be enforced between 1st January and 31st March.
Please be aware that further changes are required within Scurri to support this change. Following the switch over tonight, customs data will be required for shipments to Northern Ireland for a short period of time.
Our team are working hard to minimise this impact. We will update this post as soon as changes have been made in line with DPD requirements.
DHL:
DHL have also provided an update in line with the HMRC temporary arrangement. They have advised that until further notice, please continue to use the Domestic product code for shipments from Great Britain to Northern Ireland.
DHL Brexit changes are due to be switched on at 11 pm 31st December.
We will be working on this most recent change as quickly as possible and we will update this post as soon as changes have been made in line with DHL requirements.
Updated information 29/12/20:
Hermes:
We have deployed a change in Scurri this afternoon and customs information is no longer mandatory for Hermes shipments between Mainland-UK and Northern Ireland.
Updated information 28/12/20:
Hermes and Yodel have advised their customers on a relaxing of the customs declaration process for shipments from Mainland-UK to Northern Ireland until 31st March 2021.
Therefore, they are not making the customs information mandatory, they do highly recommend providing these details as soon as possible.
Hermes Brexit changes went live on Wednesday 23rd December. We are currently working on making the customs information optional for shipments from Mainland-UK to Northern Ireland. This change will be deployed Wednesday 29th December.
The following information is valid on 22/12/20 and subject to change:
