Shopify Set-up
To integrate your Scurri Track Plus account you will need to provide the following information:
- Shop domain(s)
This is the full URL of the Shopify account for example: https://store-name.myshopify.com
- Access token
To find this in Shopify admin, follow these steps:
- Login into the admin panel in Shopify and Click on Settings (bottom-left corner)
- Click on “Apps and sales channels”. A pop-up or page will appear and you will then need to confirm 'Allow custom app development'
- Click on “Create an app”
- Give a name (for example Scurri Track Plus)
- Click on “Configuration” and Configure the “Admin API scopes”
- From the list of access/permissions, select the following to “Read-only”:
- Assigned fulfilment orders
- Fulfilment services
- Orders
- Inventory
- Product listings
- Merchant-managed fulfillment orders
- Third-party fulfillment orders
- Select the following API access/permissions to “Read”:
- Inventory
- Products
- After you save it, Click on “Install app” and confirm “Install” on the popup window.
- Once installed, under “Admin API access token” click on the “Reveal token once”. Copy this password and keep it securely. This token can only be seen once and is necessary to complete the setup in Scurri
- Copy the access token and keep it secure, that’s what you need to integrate Scurri to Shopify.
*Note that if you have a sandbox/developer Shopify account, the same process applies.
Scurri Track Plus Set-up
Once you have the information outlined above, you will need to send this to the Scurri Support Team/your Scurri Onboarding Specialist using secure file sharing.
Import Settings
Scurri Track Plus will only import orders that are in a ‘Fulfilled’ or ‘Partially Fulfilled’ status. Each fulfillment will correspond to a shipment in Scurri Track Plus. Orders also need to be marked as ‘Paid’ (orders marked as ‘Partially Paid’ will not be imported). Also, note that Scurri Track Plus cannot import orders that have been archived.
Scurri Track Plus will check for orders which have changed status every 5 minutes. The integration is read-only, so there will be no updates made to the shipment in Shopify by Scurri Track Plus.
Requirements for a Successful Import
The following fields are mandatory for a Shopify fulfillment to be successfully created as a shipment in Scurri Track Plus:
- A supported carrier has been assigned.
- A tracking number has been provided.
