Overview
Scurri Track Plus has an integration available for the customer data and experience platform Ometria. The integration allows for the use of carrier tracking events and associated order information within Ometria automations.
Integration Set-up
- Within Ometria, create a new API key: https://support.ometria.com/hc/en-gb/articles/9882706389917-Creating-a-new-API-key.
- Only users with administrator account permissions can access the API keys tab.
- This will need to be done for sandbox and production environments.
- Once this key has been generated, it can be provided to your Scurri Track Plus Onboarding Specialist via secure file sharing to be configured.
- As part of the initial configuration, Scurri Track Plus will send through metrics to validate the connection.
The following tracking events are available for use as custom events in Ometria:
- Manifested
- In Transit
- Out for Delivery
- Attempted Delivery
- Delivered
- Exception
A request will need to be raised with the Ometria support team to set-up the tracking events required. Supporting documentation is available:
Creating Automation Campaigns

Ometria may also be required to create the email templates and merge tags (using the order information above) depending on your account set-up.
Testing and Go Live
It’s possible to test email templates using custom events on Scurri Track Plus sandbox. This can be done through the ‘Test Automation’ functionality within Scurri Track Plus.
- Navigate to ‘Active Shipments’ on the left hand side within Scurri Track Plus.
- Click into any shipments under the ‘Campaign Assigned’ tab.
- On the shipment details page, you will see a ‘Test Automation’ tab at the top.
Within this tab, you will see a dropdown allowing you to select from a list of tracking events which can be triggered. To trigger a test email, select a tracking event from the dropdown and click ‘Import’. This will trigger the relevant event with Ometria. You can trigger multiple test emails for each shipment. Note that it’s not possible to trigger two emails for the same event under one shipment.
Once you are happy with the email templates and are ready to go live, the following steps are required:
- Contact your Scurri Onboarding Specialist to request a production account.
- Raise a request with Ometria support to complete the configuration on production (as per the ‘Integration Set-up’ section above).
