Electronic Customs Data (ECD) is now available for DPD and DPD Local on the following services:
- DPD Local/Air Classic (60)
- DPD/DPD Air Classic (60)
Following Brexit, DPD will be releasing this for their Road service also. We will advise once this is available.
Once activated on an account, ECD is an enhancement which can be enabled via the rules by setting ECD to Yes.
Data Validation for ECD
On international shipments where the ECD enhancement is set to yes, the following extra validations will take place:
- Destination address requirements
- Country must be outside of EU, and not be one of CH, NO, JE, GG
- CH, NO, JE, GG still require paper invoices
- Mandatory fields
- Name
- Address line 1
- City
- Country must be outside of EU, and not be one of CH, NO, JE, GG
- Sender address (warehouse) - mandatory fields
- Sender name
- Phone number
- Address line 1
- City
- Postcode
- Country
- Item details - mandatory fields
- Description
- Value
- Weight
- SKU, max 255 chars
- Country of Origin
- If not specified, the warehouse country will be used
- Harmonisation code, max 10 chars
