To edit an existing capacity limit, navigate to the capacity limits list page, click on the capacity name, or the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the relevant rule, and select Edit.
Locked Fields: Please note that once a capacity limit has been created, the Carrier, Count capacity by, and Timezone fields are locked and cannot be edited. If you need to change these core settings, you must create a new capacity limit.
Updating your schedule and limits
You can update your Capacity Name, Minimum (target), Maximum (cap), and Dispatch cut-off times at any point. Simply adjust the fields as needed and click Update shipping capacity.
If you are updating limits for future, empty dispatch cycles, the changes will apply automatically. However, if you are editing a cycle that is currently active or already has volume allocated to it, please review the critical impacts below.
⚠️ Important: Modifying active dispatch cycles
Changing your configuration mid-cycle can immediately halt active warehouse operations. If your edits trigger either of the following scenarios, the system will ask you to confirm your changes.
1. Lowering a maximum cap below current volume
If you lower the Maximum (cap) below the volume that is already allocated for a current or future dispatch cycle, saving the change will immediately mark those specific cycles as met. No further shipments will be allocated to those affected dates.
2. Changing a cut-off time to the past
If you change today's Dispatch cut-off to a time that has already passed (e.g., changing it from 19:00 to 14:00 when it is currently 15:00), the system will immediately close the current dispatch cycle. Any new volume will automatically roll over to your next active cycle.
Tip: If your edits trigger these operational halts, the confirmation modals shown above will appear on your screen when you click Update shipping capacity. This will show you exactly which days and shipment counts are affected so you can safely review the impact before clicking Continue & apply.
