Overview:
The Transit Times report enables you to monitor the last mile performance of your carriers. Gain insights into the factors contributing to longer transit times and work towards reducing shipping cost.

Filtering:
Quick filters:
Quick manifested date range filters are located in the top header of the dashboard. These predefined date ranges allow you to quickly filter the data displayed on the dashboard by specific time periods.
Advanced filters:
More advanced filtering can be achieved via the right side panel. You can filter by:
- Manifested date: Define a more precise manifested date range.
- Carrier/Service: Select the carrier and service for which you would like to view manifested shipments for.
- Country/City: Select the destination countries and cities where shipments are meant to be delivered.
KPI’s status bar:
Right after the filters, you will see a status bar that provides information about transit time. It includes key metrics that offer valuable insights.
- Total Shipments: Displays the total number of manifested shipments for the selected manifested date range filter.
- Average Transit Time: Shows the average time taken for shipments to be delivered.
- P85 Transit Time: Indicates the time within which 85% of shipments were delivered or quicker.
Transit time over time:
This graph illustrates the trend of average and P85 transit times over time. Gain insights into periods - whether specific days of the week or months - when transit times increase or decrease.
Timeline of tracked events:
Gain insights into which stages of the last-mile delivery journey take the longest and shortest time, whether it's from manifesting to receiving the first scan or from being out for delivery to final delivery. This analysis can help identify bottlenecks in your delivery process.
Transit time distribution:
Understand the percentage of shipments delivered within a specified timescale. Identify shipments falling outside this window to enhance operational efficiency.
Clicking the ‘View Details’ button will open a table in a modal dialog. This table displays shipments filtered by transit time. Adjust this filter to view shipments falling outside the delivery window. Access specific information about each shipment, including the carrier tracking URL to track its journey.
Transit time distribution by carrier:
View the transit time distribution for each carrier. Monitor the transit time span and identify which carriers have the most reliable transit time performance.
Transit time by carrier service:
View the mean, median, P85, and maximum transit times for each carrier service. Identify which services have the longest and shortest delivery times.
- Mean Transit Time: Represents the average time it takes for shipments to be delivered, calculated by dividing the total transit time by the number of shipments.
- Median Transit Time: Indicates the delivery time at which half of the shipments are delivered faster and half are delivered slower.
- P85 Transit Time: Indicates the time within which 85% of shipments were delivered or quicker.
- Maximum Transit Time: Shows the longest time taken for a shipment to be delivered within the specified period.
Transit time by country:
Utilise our interactive map to visually analyse transit time per destination country and identify which countries are performing the best. Hover over hotspots to see the carriers used in each country. Additionally, view transit times for your top 10 cities by shipment volume.
